Meet the Adventure Crew: Why Kids Love Nina’s Characters (and What They Learn From Them).
When your kids open their Nina’s Tailored Trips kit, they’re not just getting crayons and activity pages—they’re meeting five colorful characters who turn road trips into meaningful adventures. Each member of our Adventure Crew was designed with purpose: to encourage good choices, spark imagination, and show kids the power of kindness, courage, and curiosity.
Our kids played an intricate part in creating each of the characters. They have their own favorites:
Riley’s Favorites: Tilly the Tiger & Benny the Bear
Tilly because he helped pick the animal, his favorite color is orange, and he has the same leadership qualities.
Benny because he’s brave and sometimes we need that extra encouragement to help us try new things and have courage when facing obstacles.
Naomi’s Favorites: Rosie the Rabbit & Remy the Raccoon
Rosie because one of her favorite animals is bunnies, one of her favorite colors is purple and she has a soft heart.
Remy because he’s all about teamwork and she likes to be a part of figuring stuff out together.
Now, let’s introduce you to the crew our kids already love & your kids will love—and the values they bring along for the ride:
Remy the Raccoon – The Problem Solver
Remy is clever, quick-thinking, and always ready to help a friend in need. He encourages kids to use their brains to work through challenges, whether that’s solving a puzzle in their workbook or figuring out how to earn an extra Adventure Buck at the next stop.
Catchphrase: “Let’s figure this out together!”
Life Lesson: Critical thinking, teamwork, and helping others.
Rosie the Rabbit – The Kind Encourager
Rosie is gentle, caring, and always cheering others on. She’s a champion of kindness, big feelings, and gentle words—especially when the backseat gets a little tense.
Catchphrase: “You’ve got this, friend!”
Life Lesson: Empathy, encouragement, and emotional intelligence.
Benny the Bear – The Brave Adventurer
Benny is strong, brave, and never afraid to try something new. Whether it’s a hike, a strange snack, or speaking up, he shows kids it’s okay to feel nervous—and brave to try anyway.
Catchphrase: “Let’s try something new!”
Life Lesson: Courage, confidence, and open-mindedness.
Tilly the Tiger – The Leader with Heart
Tilly is bold, organized, and great at leading games or taking charge when needed. She helps kids learn how to be a leader without bossing others around—by leading with kindness and fairness.
Catchphrase: “Follow me—I have a great idea!”
Life Lesson: Leadership, fairness, and responsibility.
Simon the Skunk – The Silly Explorer
Simon is full of giggles and goofy ideas. He brings the fun wherever he goes and reminds kids (and parents!) that even detours can be the best part of the trip.
Catchphrase: “Let’s make this fun!”
Life Lesson: Positivity, humor, and flexibility.
💡 Why They Matter
These five friends aren’t just stickers or sidekicks—they’re tools. They help spark conversations about kindness, bravery, and creativity. They give kids someone to relate to. And most importantly, they show your child that every good choice—no matter how small—is part of a bigger adventure.
The more your child connects with the characters, the more excited they’ll be to make great choices and earn those Adventure Bucks. And that’s what Nina’s is all about—turning everyday moments into lifelong memories.
